The In-Between
Alexandria Riley & Gary Owen

A new comedy about growing up.

Fay is finished. The biggest opportunity of her life, the next step in her career and the result of years of work… is not for her.

She’s halfway through her course at one of the most prestigious music colleges in the country. But her tutors are telling her she’s failing. She’s working as hard as she can, giving everything she can - and it’s not enough.

Fay’s late grandmother was always her biggest supporter, her number one fan. And with nan gone, what’s the point? If Fay succeeds, the one person who believed in her won’t be there to see it. And if she fails… she’ll be letting that one person who believed in her down.

And so Fay’s not going to fail. She’s going to do the mature, grown up thing. She’s going to quit.

Fay has written an official letter giving up on her course. When she hands the letter to her tutor, she’s free. All she has to do is walk from her house to college, and it’s all over. All the struggle, all the worry. All the dreams. And it’s - literally - a walk in the park. What could happen in a half hour walk, to make Fay change her mind?

We’ll see.
